I met the guy who started it....ta da! thank you Duane!
And their customer service is excellent, even years after the sale. Nice that the guys running it now are carrying on the same standards as the guy who sold it to them!

I bought front seat covers from them over 20 years ago. Nice match on 71 pattern & color, but the bottom backing wasn't even close. More like a fuzzy felt than the original type which was cloth-like. That's all that was available back then. Maybe they have since changed it.

It took me 7 weeks to get a set of bucket seat covers made. Everything is made to order, and there were 2500 orders before mine. I live 45 minutes away and picked them up. Ron gave me the 5 cent tour of what appears to be the original building, and the newer, larger building across the street is only open to tours during their fall car show. That is where the upholstery is assembled I think, as I didn’t see any of that in the original building. Cool place! No pictures inside inside and no recording of any kind.

Is anybody making the correct 70-72 buick bucket seatback foam? I think ACI is the best but not correct for buick??
    Thanks for any help.

    Nelson,

    I used this for my ('70) driver's seat. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/251222166666

This particular foam was discussed earlier this year in another thread and it was surmised that it was the closest fit for the '69 - '70 cars.

These are the minor mods my interior guy had to make to get it to fit and also the OEM foam back.

Look forward to upgrading the oem buckets and rear seats.
The guy on phone was very helpful when I ordered my front buckets parts last year.
So I have a lot of work ahead. Love the burnished saddle. Need to come up w idea to redo dash face and repaint a pillars.
Needs a headliner too. But all usable for now.

71-72 are different than 69-70. The ACI 71-72’s are very good, and the 69-70 need modifications as noted. When I was at Legendary picking up my seat covers, I was also picking up ACI foams for a 71-72 that they ordered in for me. I got to see the foam manufacturing area, and there are many, many molds for various cushions. Ron said they make the molds too, but they don’t make GM A-body bucket seat foams. It sounded like they used to, and may again at some point, but they didn’t want to step on anyone’s toes. I am not exactly sure what that means, but that’s what I remember him telling me.

When your orders come in be sure to check everything as soon as you can. I ordered a complete interior for my 72. The door panels were made terribly bad. There were gaps between the material sections that was really obvious, don't know how they missed that. I was short a couple of pieces and a small part or 2 was wrong.

Customer service was outstanding and replacements were very quick. I went over what I needed at the GS Nats and the salesman marked every item in the catalog for me. I would use them again with no hesitation, but check the order.

Before and after with new foam mentioned above and new Legendary covers.

I'm legit sitting 4 to 6 inches higher than previously with the old seat.
