This past weekend I had the rear drums on my 71 GS resurfaced. While I had them off I sandblasted and used VHT ceramic drum paint to refinish them. Noticed that the part number had a -6 or -7 on it. Does this refer to left/right and does it matter which is on which side? I did find it cool that the drum had the year 71 stamped on the edge.
