    Evening guys

I replaced the front signal & marker lights.

Used the 1157-A27-T for the signals & 194-AHP5 for the markers.

My issue is that the markers will not light. They will work with the signal activated & they will come on as a marker light if I replace the bulb with an incandescent. They will not light for just a marker light though if I have an LED in the signal socket.

Could it be the bulb, a bad ground, or a socket?

Have any you had this issue? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Kyle

The Leds can be polarity sensitive... any chance that is part of the issue. I do use the tiniest dab of ox gard on my bulb contacts to assure the don't corrode.

X2 on the polarity. Try turning the bulb 180*

I recall some of those were wired between running lights and signal
lights, neither end grounded. So if the running were off and that end
near zero volts, they would come on with the signal. But if the running
were on they would normally be on, except they would turn OFF for
the moments both signal and running were on.

Then the problem is, they must conduct in either direction one time
or the other. But LEDS do NOT by themselves. Bruce Roe
