Thanks to the 40 or so Buick racers & all the spectators that braved the upper 90's temps to participate in our Buick event at Lebanon Dragway. Turnout was low for our raindated event and the recent heat wave was to blame I guess. I want to congratuate our winners & runner-ups:

    Quick 16 Winner Rob Giroux
    Runner-up Phil Roitman

    V-8 Bracket winner Jacob Williams
    Runner-up Ken Malette

    V-6 Winner Joe Derry
    Runner up Brian Cotton

I also want to thank our sponsors for the payouts that totaled over $1500 in cash & prizes!
The sponsors are: TA Performance, Precision Billet Design, Dennis Lyons Performance, Cotton's Performance, Kirban's, Ultimate Converter Concepts & Auto Center @ Reader's Digest

well i changed all the plugs and it did not fix the problem.
there is a vibration in the motor i think it may have broke a piston [need to do a comp test].also i took the rockers off and there looked like the was water in the rocker pedestal on #6.
    time for new motor
whatever is wrong it drove 80 miles home from the valley to west springfield

Sorry to hear about the motor.

When I had my 68 GS Cali with a 350 / ST 300, the motor broke a piston also. It snapped in half but it keep running, it was a check the gas, fill the oil car then :Brow: .

I did the same thing, I had a 1974 Century Wg that I totaled (not my fault), I pulled the 455 / TB 400, drive shaft and rear end out of it and droped it into the 68 GS.

What a different car after that. :TU:

    Good Luck :TU:
