Very cool! :TU: I'll have a vid to post up within the next few weeks once I get my cam in and everything back together. She'll be a Thumpr! :Brow:
it's a old video of mine but the motor is out and car is in the process of being painted.. One plus to that the RideTech Air ride is now fully functional!!! Paul
That kinda looks like the airport in Columbia Tn.... But I thought you were talking about the posts on Da Nailhead,,,, the bottom has dropped out of the economy and no body is doing much to their cars... so,,, nothing to talk about....every time the money gets tight the posts slow way down....
Good eye Doc, Its the back side of St Louis airport. Used to be subdevision now just vacant streets and side walks.
[SUB][/SUB] Doc, you couldnt be any more right!! had to sell my other hotrod to come up with funds to try to finish this one.. wish i was one of those guys who could just order every part needed at one shot, have Aplus body shop paint the car and money was not a issue. If i was a lawyer it would be different but i love being a shop teacher. I guess being happy/stress free and broke is better than rich and unhappy. Paul
At $4.30 a gallon and rising, I wont have much to post in that section either. Both vids are very cool!!!
Yeah, ''I jus bee's what I is'' and if other folks likes it, OK,,,, if they dont, that is OK too....:Brow: What I have done for years is gradually build stuff and the cost dont hit me all at once...that way it aint so bad.... Yep,, gotta love the way that nailhead puts the power to the ground,,, from t he vid, you can well see that there is effortless, massive torque....:Brow::Brow::laugh:
Cool video,,,i've been tinkering around with my car all winter,,,rebuilt 200R4,,doc mod,,changing/fixing things that I've wanted to change/fix for a while now!! That video is giving me the itch to get it done so I can do that same with mine!!!
At least I know the posi is working great,Thanks Techg8... Also I am running 235/60/15 bfg drag radials. I think this summer I am going to the m/t et drag radials for better traction.Found yesterday the secondarys are still only opening 3/4.Still have some tuneing and adjusting. Paul I am looking forward to your turbo engine, hope you get it together soon
With the crazy weather we've had of late, I've already burned up a full tank of fuel. Kinda hard to motivate myself to rip the motor apart when it's been running so good and the weather has been so gorgeous. It'll be worth it though! Still need to order a few items from TA, and hopefully before May it'll be ready to rock again.
Still dialing in my Quadrajet and going out of town alot in April, so I wont have much to say until May probably. Hope to have things running well and make some passes before Musclepalooza.
This is the best I can do till I get My carb dialed in. Smoke show to come later:3gears:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M26317xYj4M
Must be nice to still have an interest; - been steadily losing mine...for the first time in my life I can actually see a future without an old Buick, and it's got all to do with the running costs and the fact that most spare parts available are pretty shoddy and never quite work as the originals did. I guess I'm getting tired of constantly fixing crap and never really getting done. Add to this the fact that gas for my pig of a convertible is well over $5.00 now and expected to climb higher once the "summer driving season" kicks in and the oil companies manufacture another "shortage" or come up with some other flimsy excuse to drive the prices up, means that I'm pretty much done. Anybody want to buy a convertible?
