Kick down cable

    1972 skylark kick down cable . I need to replace my cable. I have removed it before with no problem, however this time when I pulled the cable sleeve from the transmission I can't get the link from the transmission to pull out from the casing so I can get to the eyelet. I have pulled the cable to no avail.

    I have a cable. thank you Bruno. Yes going to drop the pan when it warms up here in Minnesota. Also learned the hard way to use heat shield on detent cable when using headers. Thanks Larry..
