Just purchased a 67 California GS project, new member from Spokane, Washington

Different car, same seller/owner! He had a roller with no motor/trans, interior, and the price was right so I jumped on it

 

was it the blue one missing the front clip and half the rear quarters?

 

Funny enough, that was the car I went to look at. That car is a 67 gs 400 supposedly with the original block and tranny, but like you said it's missing the whole front clip. Car had major rust issues and was missing a ton. He had the car I ended up getting (white 67 california gs) sitting on a trailer behind the gs 400. It's way more complete and has almost no rust except for the roof because of the vinyl top.

I've been eyeballing the $15000 67 California he has listed . what was your impression of that car?

He only showed me a peek of the ass end under the car cover, but from what I saw it was gorgeous. Interior looked good from what I could see but my view was limited and he was getting antsy with me snooping so I didn't press him. He says he bought it from the long time second owner.

 

Finally got some decent pics for those still interested, sorry about the double posts and flipped format. Deconstruct has started, body is pulled and on rotisserie. Frame will be ready for sandblast and powder coat soon!

I have a GS340 built in Fremont, Ca and found the seat covers at Legendary interiors they matched perfectly.

 

Mr mike could u post pics of the covers?

What are the difference's I have a 340GS built in Cal. no emblems.
