It's a rare A/FX car like the T-bolt where the factory had to sell a few to regular people so it could qualify as a race car. What you're seeing is the acid-dipped body, which resulted in a lightweight car. In this Mustang's case, they may have left the body in the acid a bit too long--the curb weight is probably about 400 pounds....
