My best buddy I grew up with got the bug the other day after seeing a bench seat 3 speed 1969 GS-350 go across the auction floor. He leans on me when it comes to Buicks though so he has asked me to see what is available . He has a 1967 GTO so he does like our 67's but he is leaning towards a 1969 because a friends Mom had a 69 Skylark 350-2 car and he always admired that body style and has never owned one of those. He is open to a hard top or convertible 67 or 69, automatic or stick, and is fine with cars converted to a 455 if it is a clean job and "prefers" the original drivetrain to still be available. Having known him 50 years overall "Clean, CLEAN" is a big deal for him, depending on the pricing he doesn't mind spending some money after purchase on a few (keyword "few") repairs on a very nice car. Possibly an older, still clean frame off, or still shows very nice original. He road in my 70-350 Hi-Compression back in the day when you could follow me by the tire tracks so he said he'd consider a real nice 350 car so that opens up the possible options a good bit. He will be going to an upcoming auction in Myrtle Beach so hoping to find him a "Fritz Approved" Buick before then heh heh.He stays very busy so I jumped at the chance to at least help him buy something I couldn't afford. You are welcome to email me price, pictures, details etc at : 1960josephine401@gmail.com I'm not a paid middle man or anything so don't worry about that I just want to get him into another Buick (he had a 72 Stage 1 car) that we can ride in whenever I visit him : ) Thanks in advance for any help. I'm sure you saw this one Fritzee, but just in case.... http://v8buick.com/index.php?threads/69-buick-stage-1-for-sale.343059/
Thank you Lucas but about 25k to high Budget is 20 to 30k which I think is reasonable for what he is looking for. Appreciate the lead though : )
