    hey fellas,
I have a 1971 Buick LeSabre. This past weekend, I pulled the tank to replace the fuel sending unit. I was surprised to find a cylindrical shaped unit installed as opposed to the swinging-arm type. The sock and tank were very clean (see pics). Does this appear to be an original unit? there are only 1 set of ID numbers on it (see pic)
The rubber lines were in very good shape as well, but I will replace them anyway. Name brand on the rubber lines is SWAN. Also, I was thinking of putting an in-line fuel filter up under there while I was replacing the lines..any thoughts on doing that? I figured it cant hurt.
