Is this a spacer/shim?

20190512_185447.jpg It was behind my crank pulley when I removed it from the 400. I am about to put the pulley on my 455 that is going into the car. Should I include it?

    I mount them.
It is a reinforcement and it should (if I remember correctly) mount on front of the pulley, not the back. I believe it helps prevent pulley from cracking?

Thanks John. Now you have me wondering...

I am relatively sure it was behind the pulley?

I have to say, newborn baby-related sleep deprivation is doing a number on my memory!

Edit: I have been doing some searching and The Parts Place has one listed and they say in front of the pulley as well. That does make sense if it is for reinforcement, doesn't it?
