Hello all, thanks for letting me in. I have a 68 lark with 350-4. Looking to update alt to internal regulated. Any links, alternate alternators? Thanks in advance.Dave T.

If your system with an external regulator is still working properly, save your money for another project that will make a difference such as recurving the distributor or changing from ignition points to a Lectric Limited pointless system.

It's a simple upgrade. The two wires that come off the internally regulated alternator are one is battery volts and the other goes to your light on dash. Think it's a brown wire but look at a schematic to be sure. Just find that wire in your regulator plug and adapt it to the alternator and your good.
