Shot in the dark, does anyone have an intermediate steering shaft flange? This piece is cast and has a pinch bolt that hold it to the intermediate steering shaft. Also not rag joint. Thanks!
Most important question is this for a BBB or a small block?I have a couple SBB shaft,I also have a rag joint,like the one used for the non power steering box.Yours looks like it was welded,as mine look like one piece.Bruno.
That's a big block shaft. Missing rag joint and coupler to hook tosteering box. Won't the rag joint and coupler from any (small or big block shaft) fit? I have both style shafts handy and will check for you.
Are you are looking for the missing item from your shaft, the part that connects to the steering box ? If so that part is the same between small and big block shafts and all the 70-72 gm A -bodies (as far as I know ). Meaning Chevy, Pontiac and Olds shafts will have that part on the end as well as Buick. The are other years and also trucks that have the same end also.
small and big block Buick shafts. They are the same length with the same ends at column and steering box.
He needs the big block cast iron end from a shaft....not the rag joint, etc. Just the cast end that's held on with a pinch bolt.
I was thinking that but just making sure as another post asked whether it was a big block or not . Gsfred on here just hooked me up with a big block only item ,he may have a shaft also. I can't imagine finding just the end of the shaft but you never know. Good luck hope it's out there.

They are reproduced, I spoke with Pglade and Todd Miller. I ordered one from Todd and he will be comparing it to a 70 GSX intermediate shaft that he has. Thanks everyone for all the side bar communication regarding but not limited to those with limited information that provided no result to my request. I truly think most of the information provided should be utilized in a thread in a resto sections not the parts wanted section.
