I see a lot of aftermarket companies offering GS emblems for the interior door panels of the 72 GS. Funny thing is, my 72 GS does not have any emblems, nor have I seen a 72 GS with an interior door panel emblem. Did they ever exist in 72, were they unique to a particular option package or is this just a marketing ploy? Cheers Randy
I have GS emblems in my 72? they are little upright rectangular emblems with GS embossed into in red.Could have been added on but they are the correct 72 door panels o No: ...fish
Ahhhh It depended on the type of interior the car had, so not all GS's had them. I don't recall exactly, but I think Duane mentioned it a few times. o No:

Door emblems Hi Kenneth, Can't say that I really figured out the quiz, but I will defer to the opinions of those far more knowledgeable than myself and not install the emblems. If the majority feel that they should not be on a coupe, then so be it. Pity, as they are actually quite nice. More important things to consider at the present, such as whether to keep my car or not. I really want a white car without a vinyl top. Mine is Flame orange with a black top. Oh woe is me. Cheers Randy
Like Dan said, it depends on the interior trim level. The door panels with the big swath of woodgrain DO NOT have emblems.
