Anybody running one of these? I like the look. Not looking for any performance gain. I'm just tired of looking that the round air cleaner...it's boring. Looks like it'll be about $300 buck though....more than I expected. What do you guys know or think??
I've never ran one personally, but a lot of the pro-touring guys do and I've seen quite a few in person. I've never heard anything bad about them from the guys running them.
I ran one - there certainly wasn't a loss in performance that could be felt, if any at all, you can get them pretty low profile so it solved my hood clearance issue, and as mentioned above they can be converted to ram air really easy - in fact they sell all the necessary parts ( hoses, fittings, filter relocation adapters, etc.. ). It's a nice setup and different than the norm for sure.
