I’ve got a lot of work to do and a lot to spend haha. I will Start getting it back together. Back to the crossover. Should I just put some freeze plugs in or is it worth it to tig the ports shut on the intake?

    Freeze plugs. Easier and reversible.

I changed my 350 from A 2 barrel to 4 barrel, I used the 2 barrel throttle cable but used A 4 barrel bracket .

That’s the same thing I did with my car. I just didn’t know if the cable itself was the problem. And any idea on the size of the 4 freeze plugs needs to seal the heads? Thank you

also I just found a big fresh mouse nest in my headliner So I pulled that and cleaned it up. I hate mieces to pieces.

Awesome. Thanks guys! I appreciate all the help. Looks like a q jet set up for my car is a little under 450 shipped. Not too bad.

I would try one of JW's convertors they sound like a good set up, the Q-Jet will make things happen for ya.
The Poston intake is not that great but good enough for now and blocking the crossover will help too.

Everything has been covered on getting you back to burning rubber can't wait to hear the results.

One more question guys. Any sealant of any kind on the freeze plugs for the crossover or just tap them in? Thanks

Maybe high temp silicone? Or JB Weld.

I have one of JW's 9.5" convertors, and its the best bang for your buck in convertors.
I was running a TCI convertor, that was suppose to stall 1000 rpm higher than stock, my combo wouldn't get out of the low 14's.
Had JW build me a 9.5" convertor after talking to him, BANG, 13.78 first time out with one of his convertors:D
