Intake manifold gasket

    I have a 66' 425 replacing the intake manifold gaskets.Which way are they installed I have the VICTOR REINZ metal gaskets does the embossed side go towards the engine or intake.Also saw the fel-pro gaskets any difference between the 2.
    thanks any help with this is greatly appreciated.

    Bigpig455 Fastest of the slow....

    I always put the embossed side facing up toward the manifold. Right or wrong, I've never had an issue. Spray it with some copper gasket spray too, it'll help seal and if you ever take the manifold off you can re-use the gasket.
