I'm trying to identify the intake manifold that is installed on my 65 Riviera with a 401. The casting number seems to be 1368782 or 1868782. Does anyone have any information on that casting number? I think it may be the original manifold, but I'm not sure. Thanks.

That might be the correct casting number, but I'm trying to figure out where the one I have came from, and whether or not its worth keeping. It had a Roch. 4jet bolted to it if that helps at all. Thanks.

    Not a correct number for a 1954 - 1966 Nailhead.

13 series was for a 1963 to 1965 Nailhead intake manifold, but the numbers behind the 13 don't match.

I agree with Erik. Perhaps an Offy?

I also wonder if you copied it correctly. Th second digit is likely a 3 and not an 8.

Guys let me run some casting numbers past you. Engine block at the bell housing B1364705, Intake 1375549, heads 1374603. I pulled the motor out of a running 65 rivi that the guy was going to put a big caddy motor in. I;m sure they are correct but how do you read them. Is there a site that tells what all the numbers mean? The trans has BS 65 1476 stamped on it. It seems to have been rebuilt. Has a crayon marker on it with initals and a 02 date. I'm just wanting to learn how to read the casting numbers. Thanks TP

Buicks.net has a list of casting numbers, but I understand it contains some errors. Casting numbers aren't the best way to identify Buick engines because the same numbers were used over several years/displacements.
