I don't trust Sleasebay at all anymore. I'm not saying that this is happening on these auctions but A LOT of shill bidding happens there. Its easy to get around the system and bid up your own stuff up or get someone else to "help the cause". Hell I've got friends that tell me they do it all the time. I believe them.
True, I'm sure that goes on all the time. You still have to have some guy that gets caught with his wallet open at the end though. I believe some of these high prices are legitimate.
OK V-8 Buick People: Yeah there are tons of people out there who will not let anybody else have what they want. I can't remember how many times I bid on a car at the auction and there was one jerk that wasn't anybody else have it. As a matter of fact they got a reputation for that. Most of the other guys ran them up big time. It's a double edge sword. They try to scare off others with their tactics and in the end they pay much more every time. Some are delusional to think that they bully other bidders away and they get it cheep but I seriously doubt it. They pay more, make less and in the long run not many wholesalers would bring them anything. I'm glad it's not my problem! Mitch.

s***n253 bid against himself 6 tmes, running up the bid 89%. a***o926 bids. s***n253 bids again a***o926 Bids and them bids himself up $30! Then here comes 0***e329 for his first bid to win it! I've got to think; it's a sham bidder running up the price.
Could've been a sham or the bidders raising their max bid amount, who knows what these goofs are doing!
