I also got 2 within about a week of each other. After the first one which I did online, I just pitched the second. As Larry said, same code.

I remember having to go to the post office to sign up for the selective service draft @ 18, wasn't crazy about the idea, but I did it.
My Dad was WW2 vet, neighbor was Korean war vet, 2 co-worker's and friend's were Vietnam vet's
My service if I were called woulda been Desert Storm.

IMO, voting is the most important. It's appalling how many Americans don't.

Well, if you don't fill out the census then you have no right to complain when your county or municipality gets no money for road repairs and other things because the census results indicated only 3 people living in the area. No need to repair roads if no one is going to use them.

I volunteered for the Marines back in 1983. I never signed up for the draft because it wasn't required when I turned 18. After I got off active duty I reported to my reserve unit. They told all of us new arrivals that if we were not registered for the draft, that we would have to register. They wanted all reservists to be registered. I filled out the form and they mailed it in. A few weeks later I received a letter from the draft board thanking me for trying to register but they said I was too old and they would have to turn down my registration! I was 26 at the time...
