    Glad I found this forum!

I picked up a 1963 Buick Special 4dr 215 V8 with Dynaflow Dual Path trans out here in Phoenix, AZ.

I know nothing about it, but I am learning a lot and this thing is cool.

Bought the factory chassis service manual to start. Anyway "Hello all."

    Thank you everyone!

So far since buying the car I have had the task of just getting it on wheels and rolling. Only one of the wheels on it, when I winched on the trailer, was correct.

Only a few of the left hand threaded lugs were usable so I attempted to press out the studs to replace with RH and completely destroyed the driverside front hub(bent it in the press). So I got frustrated and just hit it with a hammer until satisfied. IMG_20190518_165406421.jpg

The rear went ok. 15582240914451524133876266247778.jpg There is a little step out on the knurl so I am guessing that is what gave me issues with the front.

ARP studs 100-7702 and 7701 will not work.

Moving on... I ordered the CH30556 kit (1964-72?) which is 5 lug. Going to attempt to either re drill to 4x4.5 if possible or go to 5 lug. To be continued?...

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

Welcome! A friend of mine had one the same color and engine back in high school.

To me this thing is really neat. Hopefully I'll be able to cruise it around one day.

IMG_20190519_151500855.jpg got the studs replaced on the rear. Found complete front and rear ends with rims in Tucson, AZ. Picking up next week. I should be able to push this thing to the garage soon.

I haven't seen any of these on this forum yet. I am going to need interior help. Like does anyone know if upholstery kits from other year GMs work? 15583046022908559874543965008471.jpg

Took a road trip and picked up some parts. IMG_20190525_104015402.jpg

Diff cover stamped X C008. Haven't opened it up yet, but probably better than the one on the car A255
