LOL... Ok, what kind of car is it? Is that a MOPAR with the displacement left out of the billboard side stripes, or is it a Chevelle Super Sport with the front to back "SS" stripes? C'mon ,we gots to know...

I'm not sure what you are asking. I stated what kind of car it was in the topic. I also stated I know it's not for everybody.

The chevelle did not have the stripes on the roof. you must be thinking of the Mustang racing stripes. those were on the roof :Do No:

Nice! I like the fact that it's unique. What are you putting between the two colours? Pinstripe? Thanks for posting pics!

Yeah. It'd look cool with a coordinating stripe separating the two colors, and even on the hood and trunk, but that's just me. Do it your way, and it'll be cool anyway.

I was originally going to do silver, but my buddy said it didn't look right. He is the one painting it. I havent decided yet. I told him since he is the body and paint guy I will take his word.

Put your foot down. A thin Silver line separating the 2 color lines would look killer! Maybe a darker, like a light charcoal to make it subtle.

If I say add silver I'm sure he would have done it. Since he is the painter I just told him I take his word for it. I'm going to ask him tomorrow if there is any way I can see the silver without doing too much extra work. If I don't like it I don't want him to have to redo anything. This is a cause we are friends paint job.

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

Looks like your painter knows what he's doing. I always liked deep purple.
