Haven't even had a hurricane yet:( I keep wanting a Little one to come through just to "Experience" one.... (the wife and I are both storm lovers...lol) Yeah, you can't beat racing weather year round:TU: :TU: Especially in the winter with temps in the mid 70's and nothing but sunshine till May

    You got it!

It doesn't even rain in the Winter. I dont even put my top up in the Winter down here! Everyday to work is a race day for me. Thos 10 mile bridges are a blast! No cops! :Brow: I sure put that 2.56 rear gear to use! Hurricane parties are a blast Jeff! Stock up on beer(and ice), batteries, a deck of cards, and a bunch of cigars. Oh yeah... and maybe food.....

    I take it back -

    Jon -

I didn't realize you were a HOME BREWER!! That's how I get through the long, dark winters up here - barley wines, stouts - triples - high gravity is king in the cold!

Anyhow, I was just joshin' - it's still beautiful (if a little cool) here, we're just getting to the peak fall colors - a benefit you do not have the chance to appreciate in the temperate south!

Though the winters here are still the pits, the cool fall days are great. I pulled the 350 out of my Sportwagon yesterday and barely broke a sweat. That is why I waited and didn't do it on a 95 degree humid July day.
Now I just have to wait until it stops raining to drop the BBB in. :Dou:
    Enjoy your nice weather.

    Hey John

Wow, another Home-brewer!! Everyone at work makes fun of me, but I guess cause I work in a mainly white collar environment, but I still ahve all my red-neck insterests and friends. They just dont get it. Like why I woudl rather drive a 31 year old car instead of a new SUV. Duh! I have a great stout on tap right now, kegged and aged for 3 months. Wow, its like having chocolate coffee. Mmmmm I also have a nice Belgium Wheat that is a little too hoppy, but still tasty. Its good to have diversified hobbies! You have any good recipies to pass my way? I love Michigan, its actually why they made me leave Ohio. :pp I lived in Traverse City for a littel while. Absolutely stunning place! I miss the fall, but not the Winter. Send me some of your favorite recipies, I am gonna brew this weekend.

    -Jon
P.S. Its extract Brewing, not into full grain yet.

    Break em in early!

THe first time I was drunk I was 9, and it was my Uncles doing. Told me I wasn't a "Hecht" unless I had a beer. I thought if one was good 3 were ok. Mom wasn't happy. :beer Look how good I turned out......

Look close at the Monza pic Jeff, there is a Michigan plate on the front bumper. Go Blue!

YEP... German Family... Ever since I can rember my Grandpa offered me whiskey shots and beer chasers since I was like 7 or so.. funny how things like that were considered OK then but not now:Do No: My 3yr old daughter doesn't know the difference between beer and soda yet so I just give her a Sprite when I have a Brew and she calls it her beer..lol.
