I have a couple "what are they worth"questions

While I never thought I would get rid of these, circumstances are forcing me to make some tough choices. Sometimes you got to do what you have to in order to survive.

I have a pair of Strato bucket seats that I bought from a friend years ago. He had them completely redone for his 69 Pontiac GTO while the body work was being done. He got the seats back before he got the car back and while they were in his garage the family cat decided to make a scratching post out of them.

They have new foam, springs, backs, straps, buttons, liners, etc,. After he lost interest they got kicked around his garage awhile before I could talk him out of them. They would be great for a driver or you could spend an additional $350 or so for some new covers.

The next thing I have is a brand new pair of Mickey Thompson Super Scavenger headers. I bought them from the GSCA back in the 90's--2000's. They are black ceramic coated and have never been out of the box.

I also have a used pair of M/T Super Scavenger headers. I ran them for about 6 months on my 70 GS 455 until I switched over to Stage 2 heads. They are Cermachrome (sp) coated, kinda look like chrome or stainless steel. No dents, dings or custom tuning of any kind but the coating looks weathered and thin even though they were used for such a short time. I'll try to get pics later today as they are over at my shop, not at the house.

I'm not looking for Ebay prices, but I want V8Buick pricing. By that I mean if they were yours and you were selling them, you'd be happy to sell for that price. But on the other hand if you were buying them you would also be happy paying that price. I don't want to gouge anyone, but I also can't afford to give them away.

As my dad always told me: "You can only sell something ONCE!"

So, what do you think these are worth?

Location? Would venture $500 - $750 on the seats. Depending on the local market conditions. El Paso TX, is a lot cheaper than San Francisco.

Good point about the location, I'm in Glen Burnie, Maryland which is about 15 minutes south of Baltimore.

I asked around a few local friends on here yesterday trying to help them and maybe save some shipping....

I haven't listed them for sale yet, just looking for estimates on values and pricing.

I can PM you when and if I post a For Sale thread.

    FYI,
The covers look like 72 GTO seats. If they are then the cushions would be perfect for any of the 71-72 GS seats.

Here's a couple pics of the new headers. First time out of the box I notice some rub thru on a couple tubes. Nothing major but I want to show everything.

Richard Lasseter posted a want ad in the latest GSX-TRA that he needed a set of MT's for an overseas member. If/when you decide to sell, contact Richard if you don't sell them here.

I just spoke to Bill at the GSCA and he said they filled the overseas order.
Buyer got a NIB set just like mine for $1250.00

Wow! $1250! Makes me tempted to sell my new set... Naw, then I would just have to buy another set.
