Ray, They originally came with trim rings. Steve put his own cool spin on them with the stripe and painted them a darker color. I like the way they look. Very cool. Dont see many of these wheels around.
Ray, See if yours are 6" or 7" wide. I believe (Steve would know for sure) The 1971 are 6" wide and the 1972 are 7" wide.
Damn Briz! I’ve been advertising that notion for quite awhile 14x7. Not 14x6. Not gonna hold my breath. i’ve needed one for years. only have (3) Briz appreciate.
14x7 for some reason are hard to find. 72 Buick made a very short run of them. Some guys on the forum said production was cut short because 73 body change.
Gary look at the plates i welded on the inside. That’s why they clear the factory calipers. Some of the rims out there that don’t have the plate can just fit the drum brake cars
Ray yes I have (4) original beauty rings. That a good stainless guy can polish and make perfect. no dents in them. But man they look better with out
Tony 12 bolt in. I sent it out and got it dipped. And painted up. Brian Trick sent me all Timken bearings and stuff to assemble. Man when i punch it that 12 bolt gets me sideways. Glad i put that in. Huge difference
Briz, what you have there are the 1970 Buick Super Sport wheels (wrong centers of corse) they are hard to find and the trim rings are very specific to that wheel (hard to find) they are not overly desirable but if someone needs them they can be a pain to find.
They were on the Skylark I turned int the Capt America Race car. Been sitting outside for years. Still hold air. was gonna put them on the Regal and burn them until they pop.Wonder what they are worth?
If it were 6 years ago I woulda bought them. With those trim rings. Those wheels painted light silver will look awesome. Those wheels are much nicer than chrome. Everyone has the magnums. Those are rare.
