    gotbuick What, me worry?

Is the HT817R Chevy lifters anti-pump ups or standard Hyd.

Also, what is procedure for adjusting valves with intake on. (Have adj. rockers) Specifically with these lifters?

    Hi Jerry,

From what I've been told (and read).........The "R" at the end of the part number denotes them as "Anti pump-ups".

These lifters have the "cup disk" that the pushrod sits in .050" lower than our Buicks do. What have your block and/or heads had milled from either/both of them? If nothing then purchasing .050" longer than stock pushrods should be ordered IMHO.

    Hope that helps........ :)

BTW.......Do you have a source where you can currently get these lifters from or have you had your set for awhile? If you do have a current source please e-mail me off-list. Thanks!:TU:

So if they are "anti-pump ups" they should be set around zero lash, correct?

    Thanks,
    Jerry
