Yo. My Holley is literally an antique - it is off a '67 Corvette with a 427. It has been through Jet Performance's Stage2 build and works great. But My primary fuel bowl has developed a leak. So I just received a replacement from Holley. However... on my original, inside the accelerator pump there is a check-ball. it looks like it hangs low to allow fuel to drain into the pump. On the new ones there is no check ball, but instead a funny rubber flapper. And I am unsure if the flapper gets inserted from underneath the bowl (inside the accelerator pump) or from inside the bowl. Logic would dictate that I insert the flapper from under the bowl so it can hang open to allow fuel to enter the pump, but I just want to make sure because I think that once you install these things there's no removal without damaging it. And I don't want to spend $10 on a rebuild kit just to get a 2 cent part. Thanks.
