Hopefully it's just vinyl and could be removed. Pull that off and do something with the wheels and tires and looks like a nice car.
You're right. It is a buckets and console car, I just couldn't see past the stripe and high end of the price range.
Haha -- normally I take the attitude that it's not my taste but "whatever" as it's not mine. In this case, I have to chime in and agree, that looks horrible. A big red strip on a 221-inch boat just doesn't fit... Maybe the owner has some side pipes in his basement he can throw on to complete the look... ;-)
While a stripe down the back would make it go faster, this is on the wrong side. There is a 66 dealer accessory thing that shows a 66 Wildcat with a stripe. I'll try to find that picture later

Bingo, that was my initial thought. there is a stripe kit showing in the deakership showroom book that has all the advertising and decor items available. “Selling Aids” Don’t know how close this one is to that picture but probably where the idea came from.
