    Well there it is sitting pretty on the work bench.A brand new SP1 for a Christmas gift.A look at the Edelbrock now on the motor and the stains of gas all over got me to wonder how to keep it looking new.I've had the Edelbrock automotive paint clear coated once/had it painted silver out out of a can and this time now with nothing on the alluminum.I like the alluminum look on both the TA items[valve covers/manifold]going on the motor.
    Anyone have the solution this side of a coating.

    Give Jim W a holler....... he has a way of polishing it and closing the pores so that it is almost impossible to stain the surface, and it looks real nice too!
