i know this is the convertible section. I have a white vinyl top, it looks so blotchy. When I got the car last summer, I used soap and mr clean magic eraser......this took a lot of the old dirt off, but the result is still a blotchy looking roof. Any suggestions?

    Thanks

I’ll try it.......so basically it’s a powdered abrasive cleaner. Maybe that will scrub this residue off.

Westley’s Bleche-White........typically used for whitewall tires.
Do a section at a time using a bristle brush and wipe it off.
Avoid getting it on paint. Worked great on both vinyl and convertible top
    material for me........

I agree with the Westley's, have had excellent success with it and white roofs. Have also had good luck with bleach gel. I always wet the car down well so that anything that may get on it is diluted and am extra careful not to have that happen.

I used Zep Heavy duty Citrus degreaser, use gloves do small sections, bit by bit and rinse off. I wouldn't use comet or any other abrasive cleaner as it will wear and tear the vinyl and cause more problems going forward...

Never had any problems like that when I used it. It's not as abrasive as you may think it is. Oh, and it worked better than Westleys too. But YMMV....So use at your own risk.
