I found a set of Edelbrock finned alum valve covers and an unused b4b intake, all for a BBB. Guy wants $350 for all of it.

    spend your money elsewhere

    Intake's worth $150, covers at least 200.

Well Patrick might be closer mine did have a bunch spent polishing them and the intake was powder coated.

Sorry I get a little passionate lol

Where are you shopping? A new B4B is worth Waaay more than $150 and I have not seen a set of Edelbrock valve covers for less than $300 in years. I think this is a great deal...

I'm going low on both; my numbers are the worst case scenario. Even if the intake is the least valuable and needs a helicoil or something, and the covers are oxidized, knicked, etc and need attention. Mike, (how's it goin' ?) your covers are very nice and (I think) priced fairly at $375 or so; but we can't see the ones in question nor trust the eye of the man who's asking about them.
    Patrick

Plus I overlooked 'unused' on the intake.

Heres the pics he sent me. Looking at the dirt and stains on the intake I'm not sure its unused. Not that theres a lot of moving parts to break on one.

Really? I was thinking $350 was a bit steep since you can get a new one for just a smidge more. Think I'll give the guy a call tomorrow.

Run. Don't walk. That is the deal of the year. I paid $435 just for my covers and am still happy with my buy.
