How Much is My Mom's Car Worth (1971 GS 350)

With my dad having Alzheimer's & now living in a memory care home, my mom wants to down size. With all that's gone on with my dad in the last two years I have not had time to follow car prices. Any help with pricing would be appreciated.

Car has 155,820 mile on it
Engine rebuilt at 120,000
New paint & front & rear seat covers about 10 years ago.

So sorry to hear about your dad. I would think $12k would be on the low end and up to 19k-20k if the timing is right.

Doug's Stage X You are way off base. This is a SBB 350, Non Air, No power Breaks, Low option car, and its Green. (lot of people dont like green)

GSXER is more in line. If you find someone that is in love with this car the highest I can imagine it getting is 14k

I wish the car was worth a lot more for your family but from what I have seen I have to agree with GSXER's opinion on this.


This is just my opinion please dont take offense and start bashing. Pull up completed sales on Buick GS 350 cars on eBay. and I take a look at Jay3000's car he just sold here on the board. His car was super clean as well as high options he was asking 13k and settled for less. That was not a very fast sale and it was also a very clean GS350

 

I agree also, AT LEAST 12 grand. That car is clean!!

 

Being a 350 car I would say 10-15k
It is very sharp looking "I LOVE GREEN"

 

maybe 10 grand f you find the right guy,,,,maybe more, if you find someone that falls in love with it...id run it thru ebay, put a buy it now for 15 grand, but ad a best offer option, wait a week and find the right guy that offers what you want

Very sorry to hear about the troubles.

Unfortunately most of the prices here are on the ball, its really silly that the 350 cars don't bring more, none of the other marques bash their own so bad as Buick but that is the way it is. Neat car, hope the sale goes well and best wishes for you and your family.

 

I was going to say $8-12k. Market is down on everything, and hardly anyone is spending money. While a great and beautiful car, its still a semi restored small block. I would love to have it, but dont have the room.

yeah ouch I hav eseen rusty chevelles that were 307 cars add a couple ss badges and get 7k so If it were mine it woiuld take 10k to get it at least. The low option both helps and hurts I would love to see power dics brakes. And I am not in love with green either
