How much compressor oil

I have a 70 Riv with an a/c system my grandpa took apart to repair and never got around to fixing.

I've got all the parts to fix my broken a/c. Old frozen compressor is out, solvent is ready to flush, the vacuum is ready to evacuate and R12 is ready to go back in.

The instructions tell me to look at the underhood decal for the amount and type of oil to use, but my decal seems to be missing. Can someone tell me how much oil I need to add?

    Thanks in advance!

Cheers, I checked the repair manual and gm wants 10 1/2 ounces max of 525 mineral oil.You may want to use a little less because unless you flushed the whole system there will be some oil still in the lines ,evap etc. Hope this helps..Tim
