The Lucky`s Rod Run is always scheduled for the first Sunday in January of each year.

This year it will be Sunday, January 4, 2009.

Hundreds of Street Rodders will make their journey to Bryan-College Station to join fellow rodders from all parts for this once a year event! - Last year over 500 vehicles showed up !

It is not only safer but more enjoyable to travel together with cool rides and an awesome display.

    Chicken Oil Co. Restaurant - - - GREAT HAMBURGERS ! ! ! ! !
    3600 South College Street
    Bryan - College Station TX.

    Have a good Rod Run!

Some of the guys from the "Austin Buick Club" may show up to this event. Would love to see some more Buicks there. This event is for ALL kinds of cars, not just "hot rods". I`m taking my '86 T Type, Todd Kay will be there in his '87 GN, Chris Adams is bringing his '72 GS convertible, hopefully Tim Adams is in town & can bring his '72 GS. :TU:

Dang, sometimes Texas is just too big. If only we weren't so far away.

    You guys have fun.

The weather turned rainy & cold today, but still had a good time. We
(Myself, Steve Campbell, Chris Adams, Tim Adams, George Winterburn,
Frank Brooks) followed the Austin County Cruisers up from Houston. My
son Ryan was coming up later, but blew a head gasket on his GN & had
to turn around, -- I don`t know how he did that just "cruisin" up
there with J.D. Brooks & Tim Wendeberg ?????? lol. Will Wheeler was
there. E.J. Howe was coming in his BBB powered Regal, but turned
around when the rain started. Drag radials don`t do good in rain. Ron
Norquist came on up. The Austin Buicks gang made the trip, enjoyed
seeing them & eating a great burger @ the Chicken Oil Co. Todd Kay was
there, he lives in Bryan. Approx 300 plus vehicles showed up despite
the weather. Dan should have pictures on www.houstonbuick.org soon.
