How would anything in the transmission cause the car to pull to one side?

Did you check the wheel bearings?

I have to check the rest of the wheels. I'm hoping this is the problem. It's weird how when you're driving you hear the rotating noise and it feels like the car is braking slight, by itself.

If the wheel bearings are going away, and you continue to drive the car, you will ruin a spindle. Check all the wheel bearings.

Jack the car up on one side. Support it on jackstands. With the wheel off the ground, do not remove the tire just yet. Grab the tire from the sides and try to move it back and forth. Usually if the wheel bearings are bad, you'll notice some play here. Go side to side, and up and down.

Look for movement at the wheel/spindle, not in the suspension or steering parts.

See now yours just sounds like you need new shoes. Been there done that! I'm new to wheel bearing going out though. Still have to check mine.
