I just installed a sports steering wheel, everything is great except the horn button. It fits extremely lose and falls off when I hit a bump. I tried pushing the tines in without success. Has anyone experience this any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks

will the horns actually work if u (i forget how I did this) but by shorting the switch & ground?
I had a similar problem with the the horn button falling off. I carefully bent the prongs just a touch until i got the button staying in place.

Is it a reproduction? I found the tines on the repros were not made of spring steel and would not hold the horn button on very well. My solution was to find good, original parts.

Mine is a repo from opgi , I’ll try again to bend them out. The horn does work the button just falls off if I hit a bump.
    Thanks

Well I tried to bend the tines, it’s holding but still loose. They don’t seem to bend seems like plastic.

I have also found that the reproduction versions will not hold the button tight and can’t be bent to make them work.

Solution - find a good original
