    Yeah, what he said.
I think all the "used" ones are being used.
There are a couple options out there for repos though, but they are pricey. I think somebody on this board has/had some for sale also.
    Somebody will chime in.

    Here is an option -

I have this one but it appears different from the one in your link?? I guess mine is not the type used for a wood wheel? :Do No: Wheelz, Tampa Bay

I've got repop hornbars @ $265 and repop horncaps @ $325. I dropped 13 hornbars off at the chromer last Saturday. He said it would take a month. But a chromer's month is like two actual months. Those are the only hornbars I have right now. If you are not happy with these parts ship'em back and receive full refund.

My hornbars are not cast pieces, these are from cut steel and are way stronger than OEM. Because these are not cast pieces they are not exact replicas. The originals have a very small raised portion on the bars themselves. It is very difficult to tell the difference.

I have horncaps read to go.

If you are interested let me know and I will send more pictures. I have an ad coming out in the next Riview.

These are from an earlier run that have already been sold.

    Rick,

By chance do you have a complete wood wheel for a Wildcat hidden away in your storeroom growing dust and longing to be on a car again and see daylight :Brow:

Do you only sell them as chromed units. I'm possibly looking to do something in aluminum look, do you sell them as raw steel. If so what is cost and would they take much work for finishing? Thanks for your time and the pics.

Yes, I do :Brow:. I even have an OEM Tri-Shield cap. Not perfect, but nice. The repop horncaps can be fit with the black Tri-Shield, a silver Tri-Shield (close to the OEM but a little different) and of course the Wildcat head. We'll have to wait on the chromer for the hornbars.

I have several grades of wheels and rechromed hubs too. These wheels are a major weakness for me. :Dou: Let me see what I can pull out. I'll see if I can get some pics of the horn OEM Tri-Shield cap.

It's funny you mentioned an aluminum look because we actually made one in aluminum just to see what it would turn out like. It is on my workbench at home. I didn't take it to the chromer because it was made sometime back and wasn't with the latest batch. Out of sight, out of mind.

I also have one made from brass I bought from ebay. It is a cast piece that was advertised as "it only needs to be cleaned up before taking to the chromer". It looks like the holes for the mounts were blown through with a cutting torch and it would take considerable hours to "clean up" the imperfections. That hangs on my garage wall to remind me to be leary of ebay.

Do you plan to just polish it? I'd need to look at it to see if it has any blemishes. I want us to be on the same page on this so we don't waste the postage. I'll check it out tonight and try to get some pics up. I'll look at it and come up with a price. Again....if you don't like it, ship it back and I will refund.

I think I probably would be looking to polish it just a bit to separate the look of it from the bars on the steering wheel, although maybe not and just let it blend in. I have been thinking about just doing little touches to the car to make it a little differant. Thanks. Ray

Well, my camera must be at work because I can't find it at home. I'm going out of town tomorrow and I won't get a chance to photo until Thurs.

Ray, the aluminium hornbar has a small ding on the left arms top edge. If you hold it right you can see it. There are also some small scrapes that should sand/polish out. If you want something different I have a wood wheel that the wood (plastic) is coming apart. I thought about finding a woodworking guy to put real wood on it. It's a crazy idea but if you're interested I'd let the wheel go for $50.

    Rick,

Please include me in the pictures of the complete set-up. I would be interested in the Wildcat Head center cap.

    Thanks,

Hi Rick, if you can a pic or 2 of the aluminum horn bar that would be great. Along with the pics let me know the price. I'm going to use my steering wheel. Also if you have a raw steel one. Thanks. Ray

Nuttin' but bad news. The base of the aluminium horn bar was made from a thicker metal than the steel. When I test mounted it tonight it was too thick to seat properly in the wheel. I guess it could be milled down to work. I included a picture anyway. The top bar is the brass one. All other hornbars are at the chromer.

Mark: The Tri-Shield cap was not as nice as I thought. We should keep looking.

Here are the caps I currently have available. The bottom row is OEM. The rest are repops.

Hi Rick, too bad about the alum horn bar, I really like the look of it. If I am understanding right the round center part where it attaches to the hub is too tall? If thats the case how much of it would have to be milled off? Can you give me a price on it and let think on it/ Also what is the price of 1 of your nicer Riviera OEM horn caps? Thanks again. Ray
