    Hi guys

I need some help about which holley to bolt on to my 455.
I have a 72 455 which has a very mild cam and an electronic
dizzy.Other than that the engine is standard. My problem
is I had a 750cfm list no.3310-2 which has given problems
like needle and seat keeps getting stuck and poor performance
and burning rich all the time.(the carb was overhauled 3 months
    ago)Anyway I would like to bolt on a 600cfm,list no 1850-3 on
the 455 as I have heard it will give me better off the line response
and better fuel economy and cure my problems. Is this correct, should
I go ahead with this idea.

The 455 needs more CFM than the 750 and especially a 600. What type of intake do you have? If it is a Qjet spreadbore intake, you need an 800cfm Qjet. If you have a squarebore holley type intake, you need at least an 800holley.

We have a 950cfm on our street 455 Buick. And have an 800 Qjet on our 350 Buick.

Feed your Buick, it will perform better for you.

Thanks for the response,I have an RPM manifold on the 455
at the moment, will try the qjet as I have one and will check how it
    goes from there.
    Cheers
