I need some help identifying a holley carb I just got. The numbers on the air horn read LIST-4543-s then underneath that it says 992. It is a mechanical secondary car with what seems to be a progressive linkage. What I believe to be side hung fuel bowls the primay bowl is missing but the seconday side has jets.It has a choke horn but no flap in it. Plus I think it has down leg boosters? A friend gave me this carb. Any ideas of the year or CFM rating. Thanks Adam
Adam, Here is the Holley numerical listing, which has the list number (first column and the "R" is often ommited) that lists the model, CFM, and all the other parts.. http://www.holley.com/data/TechService/Technical/Carb Numerical Listing.pdf But I don't see that list number.. you might want to call Holley directly and ask one of their techs about it. There was one on ebay recently, described as an 850 cfm, mechanical secondary carb, but no application data, sorry. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Holl...dZViewItemQQcategoryZ33550QQitemZ290464774460 Devon
Cool thanks guys I called holley tech they are very nice, but anyways it is a 850 doulbe pupmer that was part of some performance package in the early 70s for a 427 chevy dual quad set up. Just figuring I would pass on the knowledge Thanks Adam
