Del, what the dash number after 4781? I have a Holley catalog in my office. It shows the factory "recipe" for any carb. I'll look it up and give you a list of all the original part numbers

I've seen all the 4781's, all the way up to current. And all of them had rear power valves, so I am 99.9% sure it should have one...

A factory 4781 should have a rear power valve, a 6.5 PV if I remember correctly.

at work right now but i believe its a #4781-2 . thanks for the time n input - to all of ya .
i kinda thought it should but ---- ? and i've got a holley "how to" book and a holley catalog with alot of info in it , including a list of oem jetting , shooter# etc . but with a couple quick checks nothing specific .
edit : it's a -2 carb . went back into book and dbl checked footnote info - yep looks like it should be there . #65 . threw a cheap e-bay bid on one without - yep won that one . $8 including shipping - good extra . just missed a couple real nice bowls though .
