I was wondering if any one had one handy and could do a quick search for me. I have a 61 Lesabre I'm almost certain my fuel tank vent is blocked. When tank is more than 3/4 full fuel comes out the filler (under gas cap). We are in summer and it's quite hot outside. I plan to look at the vent tomorrow Having said that, my filler neck is a mess. years of being beaten on, it's no longer smooth and round. It's dented and uneven. I'd like to replace it ideally with a cleaner smoother one, albeit with some time and effort I could fix it. Could anyone therefore tell me what the fuel filler would interchange with? I'm hunting wreckers for a filler neck, but living in Australia means a lot of phone calls to the US to be told, nope sorry we don't have any 61 Buicks. Thanks in advance.
Hollanders lists the complete tanks with filler. They list 61 LeSabre swaps with 61 Invicta and all 62 Buick full-size, except station wagons.
