The driver's side door has developed a sag and no longer aligns well with the opening. I'm planning to replace the hinge pins and bushings. Do I need to remove the front fender in order to remove the hinges and replace the pins/bushings? Thanks for any guidance!

No, you don't have to take the fender off, but if I remember correctly, last one I did was a long time ago, I took the door off. You have to grind or chisel the "nubs" off the pin. I used a jack with a 2x4 under the door. Hope you don't have electric windows! What part # are you using? They sell 2 different GM ones on the "Help" parts at the auto store. I need to do another one.
    Thanks... John

John, thanks for the reply. The pin/bushing set I'm planning to use is Dorman part 38400. And yes, the wagon has power windows, so there's that to look forward to.

Dang, that sucks! I guess more work unless you can find a way to "hold" the door out of the way. Maybe a real sharp chisel might get it for you. JC
