LOL!! I was running an errand before with the beater and Im sitting at a light. Car pulls up next to me and the guy in the passenger seats says, "Hey, is that the car from the magazine??". LOL!!! Im like, "uh... yeah it is" . He tells me, "I read all about it and how you put a Muncie in it. I wouldn't restore it either!". I was literally laughing the whole way home. It finally hit me. The car is actually famous! Freakin hysterical....
Using MS Outlook or MS Word and "insert" picture from online using the Bing search engine - boom - there's my car. Might be a cookie thing; might be just awesome.
That picture is too cool! You should do posters and T-shirts, it would be a hit. Heck ,I'd buy one of each! Larry.
I missed the first half of the story here, can you update us out of the loop people on this magazine car please????? I know of the beater GS, but didn't know it was in a magazine....
thanks, up to speed now, not sure how I missed that thread. That's a cool story, how did the magazine find out about it???
I emailed Jerry Heasley from Muscle Car Review. He writes the column called "Rare Finds". I thought my GS might qualify. I honestly never thought I would even get a response, but he seemed to really like the story. The rest is history!
I like Muscle car review mag. I currently have one magazine subscription, Hemmings Muscle machines. I think when it expires im gonna switch to Muscle car review. Great Find Jason, I need a GS beater!!!!
Last night was Bellmore Cruise night. Was a nice warm night, very comfortable even though we started our heat wave. Bellmore always has a nice ocean breeze, made it really comfortable. Man, the beater sure gets a lot of attention
