Hey you guys, I ordered about $700 worth of parts to be delivered on Friday so we could finally put my engine together. When I called Monday and spoke with you guys I was told I could order on Tuesday and still get the stuff Friday as he looked at the UPS map as well and saw what I did. Now, this morning I check the tracking number and scheduled delivery of Tuesday. Now, when I called there was going to be money left over and the decision was made to leave it in house if that was the case just so long as I got what I needed Friday. There has got to be something we can do. I know that you can intercept and re route etc and I will be more than glad to pay as I wanted to originally. Based on the information at hand a decision was made and now I am paying a guy to come work and paid extra shipping on other things just to have them here for the long weekend. I even overdrafted my account which I didn't need to do if the parts were going to be here for the next week. I am begging, I am actually on my knee you just can't see it right now. I accept full responsibility, but I need a miracle!
I am sorry to try to contact through here, but I am at work and cannot call. The order was sent to Cincinnati and has a tracking number of:

It looks like its out of the shipper's hands now as UPS has your package and you are correct, Tuesday is the scheduled delivery date. Did you tell the shipper you needed it by Friday?

There is no way to speed it up at this point, a literal needle in a haystack...

I am hoping that I could go to the Louisville depot and pick it up. It is a 90 minute drive, but it is going to cost me dearly if I cannot get this together this weekend.

You need to contact UPS then. I'm sure there is an option you can choose to pickup at their terminal. Give them a call (UPS).

Sounds like TA is going to save the day!! They are gonna try to reroute or whatever term UPS is going to attach to it. I may have to drive somewhere, but I wanna hear my Buick fire up this weekend!

Excellent Customer Service!! Hats off to you!! TA!!

Being in the restoration parts business I know this doesn't happen enough so.....

A+++++++++++ to TA Performance and staff especially Tim for saving the weekend.

After several hours on and off the phone with UPS Customer Service, or lack thereof, getting a run around that made me lose weight etc the solution was found. TA is going to sell me the entire order again, send it out today with 2 day air shipping and not charge me a re-stocking fee! All I have to do is pay for the return freight and the order with shipping again. What a group of people, that is what keeps businesses in operation. I cannot say enough......

Good deal...glad you got it all worked out. TA really does have a great operation and if you're ever in the Phoenix area you owe it to yourself to call and take a tour. Great people.

After spending my life, so far, in Cincinnati I wouldn't return once out there!

From personal experience, UPS typically will not reroute packages to a "hold for pickup at terminal" status. :af: :blast: Their policy is to attempt delivery up to three times, then return goods as undeliverable. They did not seem to care that nobody would be available to accept delivery.

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

Glad the matter was resolved. Kudos to TA Performance for going above and beyond. Another reason they have been in business as long as they have where others have failed. Happy customers are the best advertisement.

When I called all day on Friday, it was hilarious, UPS told me the package would be scanned in next " at 11:59pm". I asked where, and was told, "I don't know". At this point I lost all respect for UPS, because she had just told me that yes we know, when but not where....wow! I finally found out the where, after I remided her of today's technology (she actually thought I would believe that they didn't know where the truck was at all times!).....Toledo Ohio hoo ray! Guess what, they are closed on Saturday! This is the point where everything got re-ordered for Friday delivery. I cannot make this stuff up. Now, the order that I am supposed to send back didn't show up today so I can only assume it is being held at the depot I hope in Cincinnati.....
