I want to buy a steering column from Flynbuick, he wants to deliver it to Piedmont Dragstrip for the Turbo event. Naturally, I will pay up front for the column, I can kick some $$ on pickup if somebody in the MA area can pick it up for me. Ca anybody help out? Thanks.......
I can get it to ny and bring it to lebanon valley for the buick event on may 20th. Maybe someone from mass will be there or you?
Jake, thanks for the response! I've got a couple things that same day May 20, I'm unsure about it. I'm hoping to get it closer, I'm going to wait a bit and see what happens with this request. I may take you up on it, if that's ok, I just want to wait a bit. Seems like I have a little time still.
Not a problem. I can get it hold it as long as possible. Not sure how far you are from herb but he has a car at our shop that he will be picking up one day also. At least that would get the part to just outside Boston then.
I know Herb, he's not far. I know a lot of the GS guys in MA. Mostly I'm in Seekonk near Providence, but I have a place in Western MA, also. I just really don't know the race guys too well.
I'm looking for an Olds or Buick floor shift tilt 69-72. Only Olds + Buicks had the fish-mouth cut on the bowl to clear the gauge. Preferably 71-72 (easier to rebuild) black, reasonably priced + restore-able. There is a board member here that has exactly what I need, but it's in NC and he would prefer to deliver to a big Buick event and not ship. He WILL ship, but I'm just trying to find somebody who's going to NC who can bring it back for me.
