Need some help please decoding this car. I want to sell it but have no Idea what it is worth. I dont want to shaft anyone nor do I want to get shafted. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Tom
Tom, I can decode that buildsheet for you, and it will prove if it is an original Stage 1 or not. I offer a service to do this, and would charge $20.00 to decode this particular type of buildsheet. From what you have posted it appears to be a column shift with an automatic transmission 70 GS 455. The extent of the rust issues is going to have a big impact on the value. Detailed pictures are required to evaluate this. Also the determination of whether it has the stage 1 option will affect the value. Addditonally to what it extent the car still has its original parts-- like the engine, trans, carb and distributor will affect the value.
