    Geez Phil,
You must have tried everything before asking for help from the Almighty in the Help from Above Forum:grin:

Are you saying you have uploaded pictures in the past and now you suddenly can't? The most common problem is pictures that are too big (file size). The answer is to reduce them in size using photo editing software like Irfanview.

If you have never uploaded pictures, you need to click on "Manage Attachments" after hitting "Reply to Thread". You then get a separate window. Click on "Add Files" Then "Choose File" Find the picture on your computer and select it by clicking on it once, then click "Open" Then click upload. Once you see it on the bottom of the window, close the window and click "Submit Reply"

Alternately, you can open a free Photobucket account. Upload your pictures there, and link them in your post on V8.

Maybe its just me, but Photobucket got painfully slow and crappy. Many people have the same complaint with it. When I could finally get all my pics downloaded from them, I switched to Imgur. Way faster and easier. I think Photobucket is going the way of the Dodo.

Once you get your photo's uploaded to Imgur, you just click on the photo you want and copy/paste the link that has tags. You'll never have an issue with sizing them down, and it won't take up any space on the V8Buick server.

I noticed that as well. I think it is all the advertisements they want you to see.

I'll try again. The window where I select pictures from my computer directory doesn't show my files, just blank. Could be something that happened when I reloaded my system disk.

Like Larry stated, this is not the tech support section. Post in Tips on Using the Board.

My deepest apologies (why does it matter?)

Well, it matters because our various sections of the board have designated purposes, and our members with certain areas of expertise will look at specific areas that are of interest to them. And posting in the appropriate section keeps this gigantic board relatively organized. So if a member goes to the Nailhead section, they know they'll find Nailhead info and expertise, rather than SBB or BBB information.

If you need technical help, best bets are the Tips on Using the Board section, or The Bench. If you have questions of a religious nature, this section is where to post them. Just sayin'...

Phil, did you ever get this figured out? If not, from your comment here, it sounds like you are looking for pictures to select from the lower part of that window that only shows pics you've previously uploaded to the board? There is an "add files" button you need to use, and then "choose files", to get to a window showing files actually on your own computer.
