If I were an automotive design engineer, I would put the heater core in the glove box, next to the transmission, the water pump, the starter, all the wiring and the fuel sender unit. Who needs gloves? That's what pockets and armpits are for...
Mine only goes to defrost; I malpracticed myself when I had all apart 9 years ago. I better hurry up and fix it before I get too old.
I was able to get all 5 off my car without drilling the inner fender. I used a small curved wrench. Took a few minutes but was able to do it.
Now you got me thinking. Its been a few years since I did my last non AC heater core. I think I did the hole in the fenderwell trick on the last one. I have to go look at my Aquamist car and see.
Am sorry Brett but I most have sold mine. Here'a a link for you. https://www.ebay.ie/itm/1969-1970-1...ctor-Cables-/401435370145?hash=item5d7769a2a1
