I’m going from a stock ‘70 350 high compression air cleaner to the ‘70 GS air cleaner. Looks like it will be a little shorter, so I should be fine.....
When I converted my 71 skylark 350 to GS ram aircleaner it required a longer heat tube. I used the old style hard metal air tube (earlier years) and added a 4.5 inch extension that was made up at a muffler shop. I think the black paper type black tubes available at EBAY are 18"? may be long enough to span the distance.
