You can get some log style manifolds from Burton on here otherwise youll just have to get someone to make some one off tubular headers for you

Could I get the same performance out of a set of manifolds??

Running 12.90s at 105 now through the mufflers on a 29 inch slick 3.42 gears 2800 converter TH350...engine is stock minus headers, b4b, 850dp...pretty impressed with the performance but 12s are just boring to me anymore...I would guess its around 410ish hp? I would like to bring around 520 or so hp....or push mid 11s street trim

you can still do mid 11's on motor, or just do a cheap nitrous system....but i love turbo's so i wont push you away lol

but with the log style manifolds and 8lbs of boost and you can be in the high 10's with a good launch, no need for expensive tubular manifolds

What about with stock 71 heads? Would I be safe with the right tune and fuel running low boost with cast pistons? Or a 100 shot?? I just want to improve something this winter...incase school bores me :)

low boost, or 100 shot of nitrous....if your motor detonates with the stock pistons theyre a gonner

but with that being said i ran a 125 shot on stock internals for 2 years and never hurt anything, but like everything, theres always the risk, especially with the all stock parts

The nitrous is the most tempting...I ran it before and its addicting. The issue is that one time I ran it I provided a 1200 dollar engine repair bill haha.

It is all in the tuning, even with forged pistons, cometic gaskets, ect a bad tune can kill a good engine. Same goes for a turbo or supercharger it is all in the tuning.

Nick ran over 100 nitrous passes before he finally spun a bearing on his already worn out stock 350.

The nitrous will be much more of a bolt on.

With turbos the boost will always be there when you want it, but even with a bolt on kit there's lots of little things that will need to be done before it's finished.
